Final Fantasy XII demo to ship with Dragon Quest VIII

Playable demo move might boost North American sales

Square Enix has announced that it's shipping a playable demo of the upcoming Final Fantasy XII with each copy of Dragon Quest VIII.

The move is expected to give a boost to North American sales of the game, where the Dragon Quest series is not as popular, as well as build anticipation for the upcoming Final Fantasy title. Dragon Quest games are already instant bestsellers in Japan.
