Final Fantasy IV Advance is on its way

Square Enix sends Game Boy Advance update to retailers

December 13, 2005

Square Enix has shipped Final Fantasy IV Advance to retailers. This update to the original SNES role-playing game (RPG).

The game is largely unchanged from its original, except for re-polished graphics and sound to meet the Game Boy Advance's technical capabilities.

The game officially launches on December 15 in North America. The Japanese launch of the game is scheduled to come later.

Final Fantasy I and III have already been released for the Game Boy Advance as Dawn of Souls. Final Fantasy III is being re-made into a three-dimensional Nintendo DS game, Final Fantasy IIID.
