Final Fantasy XI gets release date for Xbox 360

New release of FFXI: Online game features improved graphics

Square Enix has announced that it will release Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox 360 on April 18, 2006 in North America. It will then release the game on April 20 in Japan and Europe.

The Xbox 360 release of Final Fantasy XI will include the original game, as well as three expansion packs: The Rise of Zilart, Chains of Promathia and Treasures of Aht Urhgan — the third of which will be released on the same day.

The Xbox 360 version of the game is currently being played in beta. No price has been announced for the game.
