Square Enix reveals Tokyo Game Show line; Final Fantasy XIII to appear

FFXIII and FF Versus XIII videos to be released

Square Enix has announced its line-up of game previews that will be presented at the Tokyo Game Show this September. Among them is a video preview of Final Fantasy XIII and a trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII — both upcoming titles for the Sony PlayStation 3.

Playable games at the event will include:

• Dawn of Mana (PS2)
• Project Sylpheed (Xbox 360)
• Final Fantasy III (Nintendo DS)
• Final Fantasy XI (PS2, Xbox 360)

Also to be presented are:

• FFV Advance (GBA)
• FFVI Advance (GBA)
• Dragon Quest Monsters Joker (Nintendo DS)
• Crisis Core: FFVIII (PSP)

Square Enix also said that perviously unannounced games are also planned to appear. This may include Dragon Quest IX, which is known to be in development.

The Tokyo Game Show kicks off on September 22.
