The Last Remnant

New Oblivion content available on Xbox Live

Bethesda closes off Oblivion expansion with final download

October 15, 2007

Bethesda has released new content for the Xbox 360 version of its popular RPG, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The new content is available for download without charge through the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The new content, called The Fighter's Stronghold, adds a castle in the highlands west of Chorrol. The new building contains a lavish living environment and storage space, as well as hidden passages and a treasure room. The entire area can be decorated as the player desires. Skill upgrades are available as well.

Bethesda has confirmed that this will be the last time it releases new content for Oblivion. The game has seen two expansion packs (one minor, one major) and several smaller downloads.
