EA confirms that the highly-anticipated Warhammer MMO won't appear until this fall

Warhammer Online won't be out until the fall, EA mentioned today. Jeff Hickman, the game's producer, broke the news at a press conference today.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning was originally slated for a release in Q2 of this year.

Warhammer Online is being developed by EA Mythic, formerly Mythic Entertainment, the firm that developed Dark Age of Camelot. Mythic was acquired by EA in 2006, and also controls EA's long-running Ultima Online.

As for the reason for the delay, the standard "we'll make the game better and more polished" line was given.
