Mario RPG coming to the Wii
August 22nd, 2008 by Colin Temple
Nintendo has announced one Super NES RPG that’s making its way into the Wii’s virtual console. For 900 Wii points, you can download and play Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Super Mario RPG, which was later succeeded by the Paper Mario series, was a joint project between Nintendo and Square (now Square Enix). It blends the general RPG style of the Final Fantasy series, with the fun and wacky nature of Mario games.
It’s one of my favourite RPGs of all time. When I was a kid, I played through this game several times. It’s just plain fun.
No date has been set, as far as I know, but it won’t be too long, I hope.

Well i can’t wait for this to come out already! You know what else would be cool? If we would be able to get this game on out cell phones. I know the technology is out there, just look at the Motorokr it has a bunch of awesome features and capabilities. I’m just saying….

Motorokr doesn’t have the capabilities to do this game justice at all. It’s actually a bad example of a game-enabled phone. Something like the iPhone may be different, but the detail and style of Mario RPG would make it difficult to pull off on a phone and make it enjoyable. You really need the gamepad style of a console or dedicated gaming handheld.

Touche! Good answer, but the quality of games is never really to par as a console, respectively, I’m just saying for convenience of being able to play it on the go. Oh and I could care a hoot about SEO lol it was there for reference. Thanks for the reply though
