Crystal Defenders coming to consoles

Square Enix’s mobile phone game Crystal Defenders will be coming to the three major consoles, the company has revealled. The game is based on the job classes from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift.
The game is being adjusted for the console format and will be made available via Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network and WiiWare in the near future.
Crystal Defenders may not be alone — other Square Enix games are said to be heading to the consoles as downloadable titles. Square Enix’s Yosumin Live puzzle game is also said to be bound for Xbox Live, with other new and classic Square Enix titles to follow.
Could this mean we’ll eventually see Final Fantasy titles offered up as downloads? I, for one, think it’s likely: Square Enix really, really loves to re-release their early FF titles.
Crystal Defenders is currently available for the iPhone and iPod Touch via Apple’s App Store. Both a full and free “Lite” version are available.
