Puppet in Peril
Gather a high-level party together for a BCNM fight. Take the Runic Portal to the Mamool Ja Staging Point in Bhaflau Thickets, and head north to Jade Sepulcher and check the Ornamental Door for a cutscene.
Buff up (they'll stick when you enter) and examine it again to enter the Battlefield "Puppet in Peril". You'll be fighting Lancelord Gaheel Ja (Paladin).
Gaheel Ja doesn't follow the normal rules of hate, and will routinely announce a new target, and then switch moments later.
His defense is very high, and once he's down to half-HP, he'll use Granite Skin - a defensive ability which prevents any normal attack from causing damage. Granite Skin doesn't last too long, but it can't be dispelled.
Once he's down below 1/3 health, he will use the TP move Blazing Angon, which delivers AoE fire damage.
The mission ends when Lancelord Gaheel Ja is defeated.
