Corsair Subjobs

The most common subjobs for Corsair are usually Ranger, Ninja and White Mage.

Corsair/Ranger

Corsairs subbing Ranger have the ranged accuracy benefits that allow the Corsair to do much more damage with guns. This is probably the most common subjob for Corsairs.

Corasir/Ninja

Ninja as a subjob is probably the next choice. Corsairs are often tasked with pulling in EXP or Merit parties, and as a result, benefit greatly from Utsusemi shadows. COR/NIN can also dual-wield, which helps when equipping Ranged-enhancing swords and daggers. Archer's Knives, for instance, each give Ranged Accuracy +10.

Corsair/White Mage

COR/WHM is better for Corsairs in situations where damage dealing isn't a priority (or an option), or for Corsairs who want to be a true support job.

Corsair/Warrior

Warrior is another possible sub-job for Corsair and is probably the best choice in very early levels, especially for those looking to stay on the DD side of this job. Later in the game, subbing Ranger does more damage.

Corsair/Bard

COR/BRD is another option, though an uncommon one, for those looking to get an extra song in with their rolls. This makes COR a true support job.
