Fame in Final Fantasy XI
Fame can only be acquired by completing quests in the nations. Each nation has its own separate Fame Rank. And each quest has its own Fame level, depending on its difficuly. So if one character has completed 50 quests in a nation, and another character has completed 50 different quests in the same nation, their Fame Rank would be different. The more difficult the quest, the more Fame points given out. The quickest way to level up your fame is by repeating low level quests in each nation. There is only one way to check your Fame in each nation, by speaking with a specific NPC.
