Bard Quest Guide
Location: Lower Jeuno
Provider: Mertaire, (I-8)
Requirements: You must be level 30+.
Item(s) Needed: Parchment, one set of Song Runes
To begin the quest, talk to Mertaire in the Merry Minstrel Meadhouse in Lower Jeuno. Then speak with Bki Tbujhja to learn about the Song Runes in Buburimu Peninsula. The point is to bring the song runes to Mertaire. To do this, first you must purchase some parchment at any AH. Then head to the Buburimu Peninsula, in area G-9 (get there through a cave from the beach). This is where you will find the Song Runes, and then head back to Mertaire.
The next set of song runes you have to get is in Valkrum Dunes, at the Secret Beach. Travel all the way to the NW, where the map stops (but you can actually keep going). Target over the beach area to get the Song Rune, with a cut scence, and then you will have the ability to become a Bard!
