The Dark Knight, like the Paladin, is essentially a Warrior infused with magic. Unlike the Paladin, however, the Dark Knight's magic is primarially offensive, making it an effective tank.

Dark Knight Quest Guide

Location: Bastok Mines
Provider: Gumbah, (J-7)
Requirements: You must be level 30+.
Item(s) Needed: Choasbringer

Begin the quest by talking to Gumbah inside the house at J-7. He'll basically tell you to go find a Galka named Zeid. You will find him in the Palborough Mines, on the third floor. To get there, hop into a boat at H-8.

Speak with him, and he will give you a sword and the task. You must equip the sword and defeat at least 100 enemies to satisfy the sword. It is highly recommended that you fight in a low level zone (right in front of Bastok). After you defeat 100 enemies, bring it back to Zeid and you will have the ability to become a Dark Knight!
