Paladin Quest Guide

Location: South San d'Oria
Provider: Balasiel, (F-7)
Requirements: You must be level 10+ to start the first quest, but you wont get the job until level 30.
Item(s) Needed: Revival Tree Root, Stalactite Dew, Knights Soul

To obtain the Paladin Job you must complete 3 small quests for Balasiel (South San D'oria, F-7). The first quest requires you to get him a Revival Tree Root. Many undead enemies drop this (Spooks, Ghouls, etc), however you can buy this from any AH. After you give it to him, he gives you a Spatha.

The second quest is a bit more difficult, you have to get a Stalactite dew. To do this you have to go to Ordelle's Caves (F-6) in La Theine Plateau. Enter the caves, and stick to your left pass the NPC. Once you get into a large room with Fungus', again stick to your left. You'll come into a room full of Goblins and a Waterfall. Target the waterfall and find the ???. Observe it. Quickly turn around and examine a dip in the cave, there will be another ???. This is how you get the dew. Bring it back to Balasiel for a Squire Certificate.

The final task involves you going to Davoi. First you have to obtain a couple of books, the first from Cahaurme (a guard from the second floor of the guardpost in Victory Square), the second from Baurise (on the other side). Once you have the books, head to Davoi. E-10 has a Disused well that you must examine to get the Knights Soul. But when you are in this area, its highly suggested that you have either Sneak & Deodorize or Prism Powders & Silent Oils, unless you are at least level 50. The pugils will aggro you, and there is a abundance of Orcs. Retrive the soul, and bring it to Balasiel. You now have access to the Paladin job!
