The Ranger specializes in archery. While many other jobs can pick up a bow and arrow, nobody can use it as effectively as the Ranger. Delivering demolishing blows from a distance, Rangers are effective both solo and in a party. The Ranger can especially contribute to a camping party by pulling in enemies.

Ranger Quest Guide
Location: Windurst Woods
Provider: Perih Vashai, K-7
Requirements: You must level 30+
Item(s) Needed: Old Tiger Fang
To begin the Ranger quest you must speak with Perih Vashai, K-7 in Windurst Woods. You will have to obtain an Old Tiger's Fang by watching one die in a cave in Sauromugue Champaign, L-10. (You do not actually have to watch a tiger die to obtain the fang, just enter the caves and all the way in the back there is a pile of tiger bones. Target it to obtain the fang.) Bring this back and you will be rewarded the Rangers Necklace and the ability to become one!
