Summoner Quest Guide
Location: Windurst Walls
Provider: Ajido-Marujido/Cardian Joker, (G-3)
Requirements: Must be level 30+
Item(s) Needed: Carbuncle's Ruby
To begin, you must attain at least level 30 and then try and find a rare drop: Carbuncle's Ruby. You can find these drops on Leeches in the Maze of Shakhrami and Quifim Island. Once you have the Ruby, head to the House of Hero in Windurst Walls. Depending on your history in the game (how far you are in the Windurstian Missions), either Ajido-Marujido or the Cardian Joker will answer the door. Once inside they will explain to you what you need to do next.
The lights of the ruby correspond to the weather conditions that you must expose the jewel to:

The weather conditions must be present when you enter the area. If the weather changes, you have to exit and then re-enter the area for the ruby to activate. After you acquire all the lights, Carbuncle will appear and asks you to follow it to La Theine Plateau. Go there, to area G-6 and place the ruby within the stone circle. Carbuncle will then allow you to summon him. You have become a summoner! Your next step is to begin your Avatar Quests.
