Talk to Jaucribaix once you're level 40 or higher and he'll ask for the first sword he made you: the Mumeito, as well as a handful of crystal scales. Hopefully you have it still — if not, you can buy one back from Jaucribaix for 30,000 Gil after you start the mission.
The challenge comes with fighting Goblins and an NM in the Sanctuary of Zi'Tah.
In order to get the scales, you need to defeat an NM. In order to defeat the NM, you need to lure it out. In order to lure it out, you need a Sack of Fishbait. In order to obtain a Sack of Fishbait, you must collect it when it drops from a Goblin Robber.
Once you've obtained one, go to E-8 and find the ???. Trade the fishbait to the ??? point and Isonade, the NM pugil, will appear. Once Isonade has been defeated, examine the ??? again to obtain the key item.
Return to Norg and trade your Mumeito to Jaucribaix. You'll get the Magoroku, your first piece of AF.
