Brigandish Blade is spawned by trading a Curtana dagger to the ??? point at H-12 in Ve'Lugannon Palace. The Curtana can be obtained by finding a ??? point in the palace — these points spawn every two hours into a random choice of one of the small rooms here.
Brigandish Blade can be killed by a group of 8 or more 70+ players. However, BB can only be killed with a special knife. All damage will bring the weapon down to 1 HP, and the killing blow must be done with the Buccaneer's Knife. The Buccaneer's Knife can be stolen from BB, so make sure you bring a Thief along if you don't already have the knife.
The Gem of the South is one of two items required to spawn Suzaku.
