Final Fantasy Agito XIII

Final Fantasy XIII is a Sony PSP game first revealled at a Square Enix press conference before E3 in May 2006.

Square Enix describes the game as "yet another facet of Final Fantasy XIII". This game, like the others in the Final Fantasy XIII series, will take place in the same world as FF13, but will be independant from the others.

Final Fantasy XIII is being developed as part of the overall FF13 project, which is called Fabula Nova Crystallis, which is latin for "New Tale of the Crystal". The project includes Final Fantasy XIII, as well as Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3).

The game was originally announced for mobile phones. There was some question as to whether or not Agito would ever surface in North America, since mobile phone titles are less popular state-side. But in August 2008 it was announced that the game would be released for the Sony PlayStation Portable. It's unclear whether or not a mobile phone release is still in the works.
