Final Fantasy Tactics

In the country of Ivalice, the king has fallen. In these dark times, rival nobles must form alliances and fight for what each believes is his own right of succession. Meanwhile, Ramza Beoulve, the young son of a noble, must choose between his own instincts and his expected loyalty.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a spin-off of the Final Fantasy series into a tactical RPG. This PlayStation game takes elements common to the series and presents a new gameplay format.

In Final Fantasy Tactics, gameplay takes place on a three-dimensional grid where the player battles enemies in what seems like an advanced board game.

An updated version of Final Fantasy Tactics, called The War of the Lions was also created for the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
