Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III (KoToR 3) is rumored to be the third installment in the Knights of the Old Republic series. The title is expected to come as a joint project between LucasArts and BioWare, the developers of the first Knights of the Old Republic game.

Although the game has not been officially announced by either LucasArts or BioWare, many have speculated that the upcoming game will be a massively-multiplayer online rpg (MMORPG). BioWare has hinted at a large project they've been working with LucasArts in the past, and the huge size of the Star Wars expanded universe, including the massive lore created by the Knights of the Old Republic series, make the MMO genre a likely direction for the title.

Rumours of the game have escalated with revelations made by a former LucasArts employee. After being let go by LucasArts in a series of layoffs in early June 2008, the employee revealed a list of current LucasArts projects, which included Knights of the Old Republic III, and stated that the game was, in fact, an MMO.
