Lost Odyssey Seed Locations
Seeds are given to Pipots to obtian items. Since some of these items have abilities attached to them, they are necessary to receive all of the immortal's skill achievements, and to get the Treasure Trove achievement. There are a total of 99 seeds in Lost Odyssey. Their locations are below.
If you have missed a seed along the way, you may be able to find them towards the end of the game, when you can return to most locations.
Disc 1
Uhra
- At the great gate, on top of the watchtower. Can be obtained either before you first enter Uhra or before you leave.
- Inside Monorail - The Great Gate Station; Peel back a poster to uncover the Seed.
- After the monorail, in a kickable object behind a C-shaped hedge, beside a bench.
- Just before Main Street, one is hiding behind a poster.
- Two are hidden behind posters and in kickable objects on Main Street
- On the second floor of Virno's Tavern, inside one of the pots.
- Inside a pot on the stairs in Tolsan's Inn
- Four can be found in the Residential Area in posts, posters and kickable items.
- Inside Gongora's Mansion, inside the Magic Research Lab. It's in a pot in the far right corner.
Ipsilon Mountains
- Two are found in trees that can be Rammed (with 'A') on the Valley Road
- Two more are in trees in the 'Near Mountain Hut' area.
- One can be found in a pot in the Mountain Hut.
- One more can be found in the Cart Track area. It's under the third cart you'll find, which can be pushed towards the screen (towards you, the player) and off a cliff.
Grand Staff Construction Base
- One can be found in the Building Material Warehouse. To enter the warehouse, go up the ramp in this area to where guards are blocking each entrance between boxes leading to a ladder. Talk ot the first guard and move past him to get him moving. When he's at his furthest point from his post, run in and grab the wooden crate. Move it out to where he was originally standing — but be quick! If he starts heading back, run out quickly ahead of him. Return to finish moving the crate if needed. Then, run around and talk to the other guard, and when he moves far enough away, run in from his side. Quickly move the other crate out of the way, and climb down the ladder. There's a shop inside this area as well.
Sea of Baus
- After you break down a doorway, you'll find yourself in a winding area of beach. The next Seed is in a clamshell on the right side of the path.
- Two more can be found in magic generators which must be rammed down. You can either fight an enemy at each generator (when the light is flashing) or quickly ram it down while the light is off.
Numara - Palace Facade
- Two seeds can be found in red hanging fruits on the walls at the far left and right of this area.
Numara - White Square
- Immediately after leaving the Palace Facade, you'll find this one in a fruit on the wall to the right.
- Another fruit hangs on the far East wall by the entrances to Main Street.
- Two more are in glowing plants on either side of the counter in Thelran's Inn.
- A third can be found upstairs in Thelran's Inn, first room on the left.
Numara - Main Street
- One fruit hang outside of Ninn's Boutique at the entrance
- Another fruit hangs in the alley beside Ninn's Boutique, where you can find the dog belonging to a girl at the Palace Facade.
- There's one in Ninn's Boutique, in a pot at the northeast corner of the store.
- Heading south from Ninn's Boutique, or north from the other entrance to Main Street, a fruit hangs on the wall. This is near a kid who reminds you of another dream.
- Just south of that, by the gondola, is another one.
- Another is picked from a fruit in the alley by Nalia's Item Shop.
- The last one is located in the back room of Nalia's Item Shop. To gain entry, ou must talk to the girl with cat ears at the East wall on Main Street. She'll ask you if you think her ears are wierd looking. Say, "not really" and she'll ask you if you want to play. Agree, and you'll first play a game of tag. She's very easy to catch. Afterwards, you can find her again on Main Street's south end, by the salon and the girl on a gondola. She'll ask to play again — this time, hide-and-seek. She hides in the back room of Nalia's Item Shop, which is accessible through the alleyway via a previously locked door. You'll receive a Mana Earring when you enter, but the seed is in the middle drawer on the East wall.
If you talk to the girl on the gondola before this, you'll learn that she's waiting for a date. If you exit through the back door from this room, you can find her missing boy on a gondola here. Speak with him twice, and he'll offer to move the chest behind him over to your side. It contains the Shine spell. Head back to the girl on the other side to find both of them. They'll move the chest from this side over as well, giving you the Mimint Ear.
Numara - Canal Street
- After crossing the bridge here, you'll find another fruit on the right wall. A seed lies within.
- Continue through the shopping area, past the children and another bridge. You'll find another hanging fruit on the left side, with another seed.
Ghost Town - Funeral Beach
- Outside Cooke and Mack's House, along the wall you'll find one in a pot.
Crimson Forest
- Follow the path to the left of the save point. On the left of this path will be a pile of rocks (like a small tower) that you can ram over for a Seed.
- Inside the Near Swamp, another Seed is found inside a kickable rock pile in an inlet off the main path. Upon entering this area, head north along the left path. At your second right, see a small inlet to the south.
Disc 2
Crimson Forest
- After you find Mack, head up the elevator. Once you do, you'll be able to use the other elevators/levetating devices in the Crimson Forest. The one closest to where you surface (just to the West) will take you to two kickable rock piles, one with an enemy encounter and one with a Seed.
Be sure to ride all the elevators in the Crimson Forest once they're enabled. Specifically, the one furthest to the north (in the northern area) will lead you to the Refresh spell, and one furthest Southwest will take you to a pair of decent items.
Corridor Garden
- In this area you'll be able to find four seeds in pots as you progress through it.
Mountain Village Tosca
- One is located in a pot inside the Deeno Family House
- One is inside a pot outside, beside Tolty's Inn (towards the back).
- Two more can be found in the upstairs rooms in Tolty's Inn
Black Cave
- In the first area (Maze of Darkness), follow the path until you come to a jump. Shortly after this, you'll find a second jump point (towards the screen) where a Seed can be found.
- At the second save point in this area, at the end of the Helltrap area, you'll find another Seed in a chest.
City of Saman
- One seed is inside the Erlio Family House, on the left side in a pot. (A Pipot can be found on the right.)
- One can be found inside a pot at the back of Emelo's Tavern.
- Two are in Kersen's Inn, one in the first floor room, another in the right room upstairs. Both are in pots.
- One is in a pot beside a stand, to the right of the House of Riordan (rich guy).
- Another is to the left of that house, to the right of Audun's Item Shop.
- One more can be found inside Audun's Item Shop, in a pot on the left side.
Samanese Merchant Ship
- After boarding the ship and arriving at its mysterious destination, turn around and enter the ship. You'll be able to save, rest, stock up on supplies, and find a Seed in a chest on the right side of this room.
Disc 3
Ice Canyon
- In a chest on the left side of the upper level in the first area
- Follow the right side when you enter Blizzard Peak. As you loop back around, you'll pass three openings that blow wind out. Immediately after them, you can slide down to a ledge that leads back in to a chest. You can also continue back into the Ice Gorge area for another chest containing the 5th Musical Score.
Gohtza
- There's a seed in Rosa's Restaurant (Low Town), in a pot.
- Two more can be found by taking the back stairs into the Abandoned Apartment (from Low Town) -- one is in a door compartment, the other in a pot.
- One can be found in Bargel's Inn on the 9th floor of the Abandoned Apartment.
- A seed can be found in Gohtza Station in one of the two pots beside the entrance and reception desk.
Uhra
- As Seth, find one off to the left when you enter the back alleys.
- The next one is shortly after, to the north after the save point.
- Barkus' weapon and armor shop, which can be entered from the rooftops just past the inn, has one in a pot in its back room.
- Behind Tolsan's inn, a seed can be found in a kickable object at the south end of the alley.
- Past the sewers, another one is in the Near Castle area of the alleys. Take a ladder on the east side, it's up on a ledge in a pot.
