Star Ocean: The Last Hope
After World War III, humanity found itself confined to underground cities, and began to dream of finding a new home. Looking to the sky, space technology and warp drive were developed, and a new Space Reconaissance Force was established to seek out new worlds for human settlement. Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a prequel to the previous games in the Star Ocean series. The game was developed exclusively for the Xbox 360.
The gameplay is similar to other Star Ocean titles, using the same real-time battle system employed in previous games. This is the first title, however, in which the player has control over their own ship, the Calnus.
